Description
The Crime Scene Preservation (CSP) Course, delivered by Aramco, equips participants with the essential knowledge and skills required to protect and preserve crime scenes until the appropriate authorities assume responsibility. The course emphasizes the importance of securing the scene, preventing contamination, maintaining evidence integrity, and following established procedures to support effective investigations while ensuring compliance with organizational and legal requirements.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of this course, participants will be able to:
- Explain the principles and objectives of crime scene preservation.
- Identify the responsibilities of first responders at a crime scene.
- Apply procedures to secure and isolate a crime scene effectively.
- Prevent contamination or loss of physical evidence.
- Maintain the integrity of evidence through proper documentation and scene control.
- Demonstrate compliance with organizational policies and legal requirements related to crime scene management.
